The variegation is similar to other spider plants but in reverse! It has green leaves with a white margin.

    Good For You!

Is the Spider Plant ‘Reverse’ the right plant for me?

Spider plants are fairly easy to care for. They require bright to medium, indirect light with no direct sun. They have developed tuberous roots that retain nutrients and moisture for periods of drought so allow the top 2 inches of the soil to dry before watering and drain any excess water. It’s best to use a well-draining soil medium to ensure the roots have adequate airflow.

Pet Friendly: Yes, the spider plant is pet-friendly!

Location Suggestions: Spider plants produce stolons that can be propagated and they look cute hanging over a bookshelf or trailing down in a hanging pot. Perfect for bedrooms, living rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, or offices!

    Care Instructions

    Light

Bright to medium indirect light with no direct sun.

    Water

Allow the top 2 inches of the soil to dry before watering and drain any excess water. Remember the tuberous roots can retain moisture - think of a storage unit for excess nutrients and water.

    Temperature

    Average from 65°F - 75°F

    Feeding

Follow a monthly fertilizing schedule when the plant is actively growing. In most cases, this is in the spring and summer. Use a balanced fertilizer - this means a ratio of NPK that is all the same. Ex: 10-10-10.

    Toxicity

Non-toxic. But it’s always great practice to keep plants away from pets and children.

    Grooming

Wash the leaves of dust and debris with a showerhead.

    Care

Browning leaf tips are not a cause for concern, but are usually due to a dry environment or salt/fertilizer build-up in the soil.
