The Philodendron ‘Silver Sword’ Story

Where is it from?
The Philodendron is native to Brazil.

Who is the Philodendron ‘Silver Sword’?
This plant is a self-heading philodendron with extremely silver-blue foliage. It contrasts beautifully with deep green foliage.

Good For You!
Philodendrons are a great addition to your bedroom. They create a calm, cozy environment and promote a good night's sleep. Also, philodendrons are excellent air-purifying plants! Filtering out airborne toxins such as trichloroethylene and benzene from the air.

Is the Philodendron ‘Silver Sword’ the right plant for me?

Philodendron plants are fairly easy to care for. They prefer the top 2” of the soil to dry in between watering as they are quite susceptible to stem rot. Place your plant in a location with bright, indirect light or filtered bright light and watch it grow! The large leaves are absolutely stunning but need regular dusting to ensure it can photosynthesize at their optimal levels.

Pet Friendly: Unfortunately, Philodendrons are not pet-friendly.

Location Suggestions: We love philodendrons in locations with large spaces so they can grow to their full potential, especially in living rooms and bedrooms.
