The English Ivy 'Gold Child' is a beautiful variegated ivy, which makes a striking addition to any home. This natural climber has star-shaped variegated grey-green leaves with an accent of gold. The evergreen ivy has long vines that can spread up to ten feet long and is grown as a climbing ornamental plant. The English Ivy 'Gold Child' is perfect for hanging baskets that add color, texture, and fresh style to any room with its beautiful patterns.

Native to northern Europe, the English Ivy 'Gold Child' was first introduced in 1971 by Thomas Rochford from the House of Rochford. It received the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Merit, where it quickly became popular. This somewhat drought-tolerant ivy grows best in bright light to medium light, cool to moderate room temperatures of 50-70°F.
