This fluffy plant is as soft to the touch as it looks. The specialized leaves 'cladodes’ give the plant a full and fluffed look. Younger plants are bushier and resemble a miniature forest, as the plant matures it sends out tendrils for climbing.

Ferns love humidity and require indirect to medium light. If the plant is exposed to bright light, the leaves will become scorched.

This can be done every 12-18 months. Choose a pot that is 2” larger in diameter than the original pot.

Use a well-draining, high organic matter soil mix.

Average from 65°F to 75°F

Feeding

Follow a monthly fertilizing schedule when the plant is actively growing. In most cases, this is in the spring and summer. Use a balanced fertilizer - this means a ratio of NPK that is all the same. Ex: 10-10-10.

Grooming

Gently remove dried or brown stems at their base.
